heavy fabric and run large
I’m normally a 26 in jeans, mother sizing does seem to be all over the place and these were definitely a size too big. I re-ordered a 25 and they fit much better but kind of overwhelm my petite frame. I feel like they make me look wide and short. Although the length is great for being 5’2” and I like that you can cinch the ankle. The pockets have Velcro which I’m not thrilled about and they are definitely a higher rise. I’m gonna try to style them with the right top and see how it goes but they definitely weren’t what I was expecting, especially for the price.

Great Mother Snacks denim
These caught my eye online, were not in store and no reviews so I started with a 30. Way too big, ended up with a 28. They are meant to be baggy and the 28 was just right. The denim is sooo soft! You can cinch in the ankle or wear loose. Looks good with a fitted tee, Docs or sandals. I’m sure I’ll use them all thru the winter into summer. Pricey, yes! I have to really love these and I do. Highly recommend! I’m 5’11” 152.
