The Kick It High Waist Straight Leg Jeans

These have a nice, tight fit to mid-thigh then they just feel baggy and awkward all the way down. They are also extremely long. I don’t know when regular inseams became so long, but these easily puddled 4” on the floor.

love everything but the length. i'm 5'7" and would have to have these hemmed. For the price, returned.

These jeans are so soft and a classic fit. I love the color even though I typically go for light wash. I usually order a size or two larger than typically get in other brands. Good fit and length for taller ladies.

I do not usually write reviews and honestly mother jeans are usually a brand that I struggle with. However, these are amazing! They have stretch and are actually true to size!

Went out on a whim to buy these as they look good on the model but they're also good IRL!!! I'm usually a 25-26 but they only had 24 so went ahead and bought them. They do have a little stretch so that's probably why it fits me. Will need to get length altered a little so can wear with flats/sneakers.

These are fantastic jeans, very flattering in the waist, hips and legs. High-waisted, but not too high. Waist band wasn’t tight and the hips/thighs weren’t too baggy - 5 stars.

I normally wear a 27/28 in jeans - usually my go-to is Jcrew but I see so many positive reviews about mother, so when I found the 27 on sale I snagged them hoping they would fit. They arrived and they were very loose much to my surprise. Luckily I found them in my local store in a 26 and those fit like a glove. I noticed this particular colorway is 78% cotton so that is surely why, whereas a pair I tried in store in another color at 98% cotton fit too snug in the 27. So I would say just make sure you check the blend on the pair you get if ordering online. My store also exchanged size for me at the sale price, which I really appreciated. I did also decide to have them hemmed because even the smaller size was a few inches too long (I am 5'6"). Nordstrom made it all a seamless experience - after I did my size exchange the seamstress was up to measure for hemming within 5 minutes. Nice.

I am 5'8" tall with a mature, size 14 hourglass figure. I ordered size 33 after checking the size chart. This is my first purchase of Mother denim. This brand is indeed made of stretchy fabric with a flattering fit. Color is close to the online image, but the distressed areas are not as prominent in person, which is my preference. The rise did not quite hit as high as expected, but it is comfortable.

Beautiful jean, they feel buttery soft and comfortable but they fit extremely long. Might have to return if seamstress quotes too high. On the loose side compared to my other Mother jeans. This denim is very/too stretchy, so they will most likely loosen up with wear even more. Tempted to return and reorder in a size smaller but paying to hem them is discouraging. Inseam measures 31.5" and the front rise is 10.5 and from the back 12.5"

These jeans require heels. I’m 5’9 and they are easily 3 inch’s too long. Which, if I’m wearing heels might be nice but based on the pic I thought they were ankle length. Returning, they look ridiculous on me.

Good fit but don’t look like the photo. Soft and make my normally flat bum look curvier, too long though. I’m between 5’5” and 5’6” so I’m not short.

These look NOTHING like the photo. I genuinely feel like a mistake has been made and the photo may correspond to a different SKU. The photo shows an ankle-length jean, but these actually have a 32” inseam. At 5’9”, I like long jeans, but these are much longer than what’s pictured. The denim is also very heavy, and the overall fit is big and unflattering. I purchased my normal size 28 and will be returning them.
