MOTHER
Founded in 2010 by premium-denim industry pros Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER specializes in collections that present a juxtaposition of hard and soft. The brand evokes teenage rebellion, unconditional love and hilarious insult all at the same time (the company's name is a play on the duality of the word "mother," which can be nurturing or a cuss).

So Sad!
I really, really wanted these jeans to fit right. Sadly, they were way too long (I'm 5'8" and had to roll them several times to keep from covering my feet). Also, I sized up as suggested, which fit me at the waist, but from the pockets down just hung on me. It's a very odd fit. I returned them.

High Quality Denim
These jeans look and feel the price; heavy, well-washed and styled denim. They’re longer to match the silhouette of the season; roll them up for a wide leg look with a cute shoe, or leave them long and let them trace the floor for the slightly flared look. They fit perfectly tts. If you value high quality denim, they’re worth it. The rips are perfectly placed and add to the overall look.

not comfortable
I love the look of these jeans. I also had to size up. They are extremely long and the inseam was short. Which made them uncomfortable to sit or walk. I have to return them. To many issues for the price.

I loved the look of these online and took a chance ordering them, since there were no reviews at the time. I agree with the first review, though—I usually wear a 24 or 25 in jeans and had to size up to a 26. I probably could’ve even gone for a 27, but ultimately decided it wasn’t worth it.
The jeans are well-made, but I would’ve liked a bit of stretch for comfort. I also liked that they’re on the longer side (I’m 5’6” but often wear 4”+ heels, and these were the perfect length for that look).
In the end, I decided these weren’t the most flattering on me and were too rigid and uncomfortable to justify the higher price point.
