The Dodger Ankle Wide Leg Jeans

I always try to pick up Mother denim while on sale, however, these are not worth even the sale price. They are rigid, stiff, and horribly big. I’m typically 29 in Mother and the 28’s were swimming on me. I won’t even considering sizing down bc the fabric is so uncomfortable.

Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I love these jeans. They’ve been my go-to since I’ve gotten them. Comfortable, don’t stretch out while wearing and tts.

I have always steered away from Mother because it’s mostly stretch denim which I find to have an outdated look. This pair is a refreshing change as the fabric is 100% cotton and has therefore much more integrity, with a modern slouchy baggy look. Keep your usual size for that, or size down if you want it to fit tighter. The wash is beautiful, even more so in person.

I tried on sizes 25,26 and 27. The waist and hip fit wasn't all that different between these three pairs. I usually buy a 26 or 27 in denim. I love the wash and the fit. They are a rigid denim. I own several pairs of AGOLDE Riley in a 26 that I feel I bought to small and felt obstructed in my movements. The 25 felt like my Riley 26's. The 26 gave me a little more room so I kept those. The 27's were a little to big through the hips. Its all in how you want them to fit. I love love love the wash. The length is a little awkward (5'4) looks good with sandals not sure how I'll style in the cooler months as they hit in the middle of my ankle.

Usually mother jeans are more fitted around the high waist so they fit perfectly on a smaller waist but these weren’t the case unfortunately

Hated the fit as I have very narrow hips. No stretch to them either.
