Mother Lode Travel Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The clamshell deign is key in this. It opens up like a regular suitcase, but you can wear it like a backpack. This will replace a traditional rolling carry-on for a 2-week trip. Since a checked bag is extra, and I don't want to roll a case behind me everywhere I go, this will do the trick.

It was amazing very comfortable to use even though I have a bad back the straps are wide and comfortable and didn't cut into my shoulder. I managed to get lots of things in it and plenty of pockets to keep things in order and separate if need be. Well worth the money thank you samsonite

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have owned the Ebags version of this bag for 15ish years and was desolate when I learned that ebags is no more. I’ve taken it on week long trips to England, two weeks in Italy, 18 days to Turkey, two weeks to England, week long trips to California wine country, an a two week trip covering Berlin, Munich, Prague and Vienna. This is an all killer, no filler bag for One Bag travel. The expandability is a huge winner, as I brought back three bottles of wine in protective sleeves, a Palio cake, a KG of cheese, plus all my regular pack from Italy with room to spare. There are other bags, but none that matches the value at the price point.

You can convert it from a backpack into a regular bag by retracting it's shoulder straps into the shell of the luggage itself givng this luggage great flexibilty. Lot's of great compartments and pockets as well. I'm very happy with my purchase. Thanks.
