Perfect fit
I was wary about the fit of these based on the other reviews but they’re amazing. If anything I might wish they were a tiny bit more high waisted - I’d call them a solid mid-rise - but other than that they give my legs and backside amazing shape like all Mother denim.

I am 5’2” 115 lbs, ordered size 2/26 petite.
The con is HUGE but not exclusive to this brand. The inseam is too long for petites to have the same look as the model on the Nordstrom website. Instead the length is awkward and still requires tailoring which is BEYOND frustrating. The length hits at a point where the front bends on your sneakers and not slightly cropped like the models leaving you looking like you are wearing regular length crop jeans or ugly high-waters…just odd all the way around. Why do designers do this to petites? Please designers MEASURE petites’ inseams that are 5’-5’4” and find an average inseam length that works for all to look decent. A 25.5” inseam for a “slightly cropped look” is not working that is a great length for 5’4” only so NOT inclusive.
And the back pockets are HUGE, they start high and end well past the bend in your bum. Terrible! Did the designer go cheap and use the same size pocket on the petite size? Seriously disappointing.

wanted to love these but didnt
I’m 5’2”, 125 lbs and wear 27 in all the Mother’s I own which are all the Tomcat Style (98% cotton, 2% stretch). I was so excited for these but something was off. Hate to say it, but they were very weird in the crotch! Almost a camel toe type situation. I have big thighs so maybe it was just my inner thighs being weird but unfortunately I couldn’t keep these. I would say the rise is mid rise. I probably would have still needed them altered to be shortened by about an inch. Good color but I think I need to stick with jeans with less stretch. They will probably be cute on thinner leg girls - I did love the wider leg opening

These jeans are the only pair of Mother’s i regret buying. They just don’t age well. The wash fades fast and I don’t think the quality of the thin material is worth this price point.

perfection and so comfortable
Jeans are so frustrating for me since I am petite and look bad in high rise. These have held their shape completely in spite of the stretch and they are so flattering and comfortable. I really wish they came in more colors/lengths- the other lil rambler is high rise and has raw hems.

My favorite fit in Mother petites
Love this fit so much I purchased in 2 colors. I’m 5’2 and 125ish with longer legs and shorter torso. These are a great rise for me, as opposed to very high waisted jeans. Size 26P length hits just above my ankle. Perfect for flats or heels. Love that they’re right between a wide leg and straight leg.
