What it is: A gentle, sulfate-free tone-correcting shampoo to combat brassiness in blonde, lightened brunette and grey hair.
What it does: It counteracts unwanted yellow and orange hues with violet pigments and helps repair hair from the inside out with ArganID technology.
How to use: Massage through wet hair and scalp. Leave on for 3 to 5 minutes. Rinse well. Follow with your favorite conditioner.

Wonderful
This is a really great toning shampoo! I have newly highlighted hair but it’s not a bright icy white it’s more beige tone on my natural dark blonde hair. I get more orange than yellow since it’s not a level 8 or more but this actually works to neutralize! I do leave it in my hair for the five minutes because unless you have a level 8 and higher blonde leaving it for less doesn’t work the same. I also use a clarifying shampoo first then a toning shampoo because it works far better that way. This smells amazing like all the other products so if you’re a fan this doesn’t disappoint. However what does is the matching conditioner, go find my review for that but in short DONT BUY THAT! Instead use a deep conditioner or regular conditioner MoroccanOil offers because the shampoo does wonders all on its own. Best higher end violet shampoo I’ve tried!

Great Shampoo But Strongly Pigmented
I really do like this shampoo and will continue to use it, but I have figured out that I need 2+ shampoos with a non-purple shampoo to offset the silver effects of this one. When I tried it every other washing, my hair was a strong silver… a pretty silver but still too silver for my age.

BEST PURPLE SHAMPOO
I get blonde highlights aprox every 6 weeks but I do tend to get brassy near my next appointment. I feel the trick to this product is figuring out how long to leave on your hair . I was not a fan the first time I used the product but left it on longer the second shampoo and I really liked the results . I will purchase again. Pleasant fragrance.

Gets the Job Done
It definitely helped my highlights pop and made my whole color less brassy. Docked one star because while it does great things for my color, it did not clean my scalp at all. So it works but if you only wash your hair twice a week like me, you’ll probably want to shampoo your hair before you use it.

Amazing!
I have tried a couple other luxury brand purple shampoos and this is by far my favorite. It noticeably makes my hair whiter with consistent use. Also I can’t believe the price!

Love this for brightening my brassy hair between hair weaves. Left on for 7 minutes and took my hair from brassy to ash blonde and fresh. Didn’t dry it out, felt great! Going to buy again. Perfect purple shampoo.
