Understated elegance.
This is my first platinum finish Montblanc pen. Compared to some of the more expensive Montblanc models, such as the Homage to Homer pen that I use nearly everyday, this platinum version of the Meisterstruk LeGrand, with its understated elegance, is an homage to all Meisterstruck pens, which have long since been the standard by which all other writing instruments are measured. This is a wonderful pen.

Not made in Germany, says "Made in Hungary" on box. Expected quality not there. Waterman ballpoint pen feels better.
