How to use: Apply eye pencil directly on eyelid as close to the lash line as possible. Use on both top and bottom lashes for a natural makeup or a bold makeup look. Apply mascara from roots to tips of eyelashes and layer as desired to achieve up to 12x the volume (from bare lashes) and intense black pigment.

Tried them all
Over the years I think I've pretty much tried every method of eye lining that is or has been on the market. I always come back to the Lancome Le Crayon Kohl eyeliner pencil. It's easy to use, makes a nice thin line or thicker if you want that look. It's easy to sharpen, doesn't keep winding away in the sharpener down to a stub as some brands do. You can smudge it or leave it as is and it doesn't come off or melt down to your lower lid. I've used it over powdered shadow and cream, it goes on great on both. There are a limited number of colors but there is one to go with everything. I love the Gris Noir and Black Coffee (dark brown) shades.

I wanted to love this but it was just not working for me. The formulation was too clumpy and thick, and the brush wand did not help in separating the lashes. It was uneven during the several attempts I did on applying it, like thick and clumpy on one end and almost no coat on the rest of my not-so thick lashes. It was all over my eyelids, too. So messy.

Great looking lashes except for smears.
It dramatically thickens and lengthens my lashes but I wish that it did not smear . It's the only Lancôme mascara that gives me raccoon eyes.

Flaking after a few hours
This mascara is thick, voluminous and looks great at first. Unfortunately, it starts flaking after a few hours. I used it during work days and had "raccoon eyes" by lunch time. I had to send it back

Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara
Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara has a wonderful brush yet the mascara clumps easily on it which then distributes too much product on my eyelashes. This mascara also flakes.

Don't waste your money..
I am a huge fan/lover of mascara. Lancome was the first "expensive"mascara I bought (I believe I was 12)& always have liked their mascara's. I was excited to buy this. But...I honestly do not care for it one bit. I accidentally pressed 2 stars but meant 1 and won't let me take it back. I believe my Dior is still my favorite. Its super hard to take off. I tried everything. I literally had to take my makeup remover towelette and pull on each lash to get it off and still had some on there. I believe the video of the girl putting on false lashes on one eye and this mascara on the other,those false lashes must have been cheap,thin false lashes. I DO NOT recommend this mascara and I do love many things from Lancome, just not this. I have bought and tried almost every mascara, including "store brands" when I hear it was great . Lancome has some good mascara but not this one :(
