Monogram Embroidered Silk Pants

i am so glad i asked to try these pants on immediately after getting them at order pickup. they were clearly worn and damaged by someone before nordstrom accepted a return and resold the same pants online. i found the nearest associate in the area that sells toteme and showed him the stains and snags. he agreed they should not have been accepted for a return. he further inspected the pants before saying they were hemmed, pointing out horizontal markings at the bottom of each pant leg from alterations. he also showed me the monogram print was abruptly cut off at the “E” which is not how the print appears on the pants as pictured. it’s a shame because these are such cute pants and i wanted to invest in a statement piece for spring and summer. nordstrom should enforce a stricter return policy with designer items.
