Nura Freshwater Pearl Drop Frontal Hoop Earrings

It is not easy to find earrings that combine pearl and yellow gold without looking too “early 90’s” - I know, because I have been searching for the past few years. So when I saw these on Anniversary Sale, I decided to give them a try. I was worried they would be too small based on some other reviews, but I find them to be the perfect size. They are very lightweight which is important to me in an earring. These will definitely go into my rotation of daily work earrings, and would also be good for a dressy daytime event or obviously anything with a coastal vibe. I am a little nervous that they are gold plate instead of solid gold, but I’m hoping with Monica Vinader quality they last at least a few years.

These are flimsy thin gold earrings. I knew the pearl drop would be uneven but it looks very cheap and something you’d buy off a street vendor. The pearls are also very thin as if they sliced a small pearl in half. While they are on the small side, I didn’t mind that, it was the thin cheap overly yellow cheap metal gold and the thin cheap pearls. I’m returning them, they’re not sophisticated nor delicate, just cheap looking. Very disappointing purchase.
