I tried just about every style from this brand and all of them were shedding feathers ! or too thin for the price point . I decided to try this one thats thicker but not too bulky..so far no shedding, very warm, doesnt feel or look puffy and looks very fashionable and beautiful. I love everything about it so far..the look, the cut, the details everything! im 5ft. 147lbs.and the size 4 fits perfect! the length hits right to the knees, but not to long its very nice..but if i see one feather shed it will go back no matter how much I love it because for the price point I better not see any feathers flying around! I tried the other Hermine the $1600 one and that I would be a size 3! for references on these two different styles coats..this one is more fitted from the bottom , and longer the other runs more shorter and flare from the bottom and runs slightly bigger. But this one for some reason fits better and looks better on...I love it , im just still waiting to see if it will shed feathers like all the other moncler ones i tried....so far so good :)

LOVE MY MONCLER!!
I absolutely love this coat! It’s super lightweight and incredibly warm! Originally I purchased a size 3 but had to exchange it for a size 4. I am a size 6 in clothing and wear a 36 D bra so the size 3 coat was too tight in the chest.

Need to size up
I am 5'1" and 105 lbs, 34B, normally wear size XS (0-2) or S, depending on the cutting. I initially tried on size 0, can't even close the snap buttons, then I tried both size 1 and size 2. The size 1 is tight on the upper body (chest and underarm areas), able to zip up completely and the waist area is just right. The size 2 has more room for my chest and for upper arm movement (enough room for a thicker sweater), but the waist area is slightly loose.
I decided to take the size 2. The cut of this coat is more suitable for someone who has a slim upper body.
It is warm enough for me in the hi 30's to low 40's F wearing just a thin layer underneath. I haven't gone anywhere colder yet.

Proportions not right for my body
This is a wonderful, light puffer coat and the grosgrain details make it very flattering. I’m 5’3.5”, 32-34DD, size 28 in jeans with a flat booty. I knew from other reviewers (thank you!) that this coat runs small and to go up a size, so I ordered size 3 (6-8). The top of the coat was almost too small for me. The wasn’t enough room at the top of the sleeves where they meet the shoulders for me to raise my arms comfortably. But the shoulder seams were in the right place. The bottom of the coat was huge. It gaped and flared out too far away from my body to be able to keep me warm. I looked like the Liberty Bell without the crack in it. My body is pretty much proportional from top to bottom so the cut of this coat isn’t right for me. Sadly, I returned it.

I wanted this jacket the first time I saw it. It took me a number of years to save up to purchase it and I’m so glad that I did. It is a truly beautiful coat and is so much more distinctive than other down coats. And it is super Duper warm. That’s true to size

Too flimsy
This jacket is too flimsy and can snag pretty easily. Also scratches can occur even when you’re not doing anything. I live in Alaska it’s not warm enough especially for the price.

Beautiful, practical, and warm
This is my very first Moncler coat. The Hermine is very flattering, well made, and very warm. I bought it on the weekend when there was a snowstorm and freezing temperatures. I am so happy to get this as it is very fashionable and practical. The darts on the back and front makes my waistline look small. I took a size 3 and it fits me perfectly.
