Perfect for a niche application
I got these for a very niche and specific application - RC airplane flying. I need something that doesn’t block too much light (I wear a hat and want to see details on the plane well) but also covers my entire upper face (these are also serving as eye protection from the sun, no matter what angle I am looking at). The opal mirror is the perfect amount of light reduction, and the chroma pop makes the typically bright colors of RC Planes really pop. The lens is spiracle and I do not feel like I am in a fishbowl yet my eyes are completely protected. I can’t think of how they could be better.

Too Narrow for Larger Heads
High quality glasses, love the look overall, but too narrow for larger heads. The side pieces are too tight on the temples and sides of head, and the lenses look too narrow on my face.

Purchased as Replacement to Attack MTB
Great fit for my narrow face and has to be one of the largest coverage/ best protection from Smith, which is nice for backcountry skiing. That said it the lens may be too tall for some - it is almost too big for my Giro mtb half lid (lid sits on top of lens and tends to push glasses down). Seemingly higher quality lens than other Smith glasses I own (lens seems to have better clarity), however it is heavier relative to the Attack MTB (most of the weight coming from the lens itself). I wouldn't consider them heavy, but enough that I do feel them after several hours of wear relative to the Attack MTB. I haven't messed with changing the lens so I can't comment about that.
