A Fascinating Journey Into Minimalist Perfumery
The Escentric Molecules Molecule Discovery Set is such a brilliant way to properly explore the brand and I have loved every minute of wearing it. Having all five Molecule fragrances in perfectly portable 8.5ml sizes makes it so easy to experiment and really understand how each aroma chemical behaves on my skin. I have been choosing one depending on my mood, spritzing onto my pulse points in the morning and occasionally layering two in the evening for something a bit more bespoke. Molecule 01 is that iconic, woody skin scent that comes and goes beautifully, Molecule 02 has a gorgeous mineral amber warmth, Molecule 03 feels fresh and grassy, Molecule 04 is radiant and slightly creamy, and Molecule 05 wraps you in a soft piney, cashmere like hug. They are subtle yet full of character, adapting to your skin and evolving throughout the day. This set is perfect for travel, for fragrance lovers who enjoy something a little different, or for anyone wanting to discover their signature in a modern, minimalist way.

Waste of money
Didn't like these at all. I think the modern thing is that you can't smell it, but it develops on your skin. A bit like the Emperor's New Clothes, not really there. I won't be purchasing again and certainly can't recommend.

Perfumes are great but price has DOUBLED
I bought this set a few months ago for $45. It's a great way to sample their perfumes. It's worth it for $45, but I wouldn't pay $90! The fragrance is very light, so you need to spray a lot.

Great way to discover the famous molecular scents
This is quite a nice offering allowing to experience the entire molecule range with generous samples of 8,5ml. It also allows one to train their nose with these synthetic molecules. I’ve just ordered the Molecule set and also bought the Escentric set , this way you can really test them in all conditions and see which one is suitable for a full bottle buy. For now, Ambroxan (Molecule 02) seems to be my thing.

Perfect gift
Bought this for my husband as he wants to find a new perfume. I love this brand (primarily 001) but thought this was an excellent way to try out different scents before committing to one. They are a good size and think this is very good value. The packaging is cool too - makes a good gift.

Nice packaging but scents are meh
I have tried 2 of the perfumes so far, both are nice enough but haven't blown me away.
I think I definitely prefer the other M range which is more expensive but perhaps why so will stick to this next time.
On the plus side the packaging is really nice and I like the concept of the brand and how the scents are developed.

Fantastic way to try new perfumes
Molecule 01 has been my signature perfume for a long while - I'm trying to branch out and find a few more perfumes I love so this was a great way to try the other ones! I gifted the Molecule 01 mini to my sister so she could try it out :). I am absolutely in love with 02 and 03, they are so subtle but make me feel so confident. I would pass on 04 and 05 as they are both a bit stronger smells, but it's amazing that I didn't have to buy the full sizes to find that out! The packaging is also beautiful and sturdy and it comes with a booklet explaining all the scents, would be a lovely gift for someone.
