Love my new coffee maker
I wanted a really nice drip machine that didn't keep water hot all of the time and didn't have a burner keeping the coffee hot. This machine is PERFECT for my need. Yes, it's little spendy. But honestly makes the BEST coffee! And the thermal carafe when using the included solid lid keeps the coffee hot for hours! Unique design. Great tasting coffee. I love my Moccamaster!

Moccamaster Disaster
I really wanted to love this since I love coffee and read so many great reviews. The parts are plastic and flimsy and we had a feeling something would break. We had no idea that it would break the first time we used it. We managed to make one pot of coffee and to its credit, the coffee was really tasty. In addition, there are too many steps involved to brew the coffee, especially considering I am brewing coffee in the early morning before I am completely awake. My Cuisanart was a dream compared to this.

Honestly, I was so excited to get this machine as I’d read reviews that claimed this made the best coffee ever. It’s been nothing but underwhelming since I received it. The construction of the stand and base feels flimsy, the base doesn’t even permanently connect, and I hate that there is no automatic switch off once the coffee is done brewing. I think my previous machine that was half the price made coffee just as well and was better built. Giving 3 stars simply for the fact that it does make coffee... which you know, is the principal function of a coffee machine.

Excellent coffee maker
This is recommended as one of the best drip coffee maker. It does make very good tasting coffee. It is very simple Machine. Plastics parts are very easy to take out and clean. Best to use with ground the coffee before brewing. It is kind of on expensive side. If one like good tasting coffee and a machine to last long this would be it.
