gorgeous
Love this coat. Going to be so chic with a black turtle neck bodysuit and long black leather straight leg pants. Love the leather sleeve detail in contrast with the green wool. I am 5’ 8” and it hits a few inches below the knee.

Heavy Coat
I was excited to order this after seeing it on the sale preview, but in person this coat did not live up to its sleek and structured silhouette. The coat is very heavy and the buttons all say “Sam Edelman” on them, which looks a bit tacky. I ordered my regular size, but found this ran one size too big. This is going back.

Beautiful coat
This is an absolutely beautiful coat that is chic, slimming and will be warm in the seasons to come. The pics do not do it justice—it looks so much better in person and the colors are rich and the coat is a good weight/quality. I am normally a size 8 but sized up to a 10 for room to wear heavier sweaters underneath (For reference I’m 5-10, 158). The larger size isn’t bulky, and the belt allows you to cinch the waist as needed.

Color misleading in photos
Color is listed as “military green” however the photos make it appear very brown. It is in fact VERY military green in person which i was surprised about, was hoping itd look more like the photos online. I was also expecting it to have more of a tailored fit, however tying the belt tightly can ameliorate that.

I am in love.
This wool military trench is SO cool! The color of the wool portion is a true deep military green (almost brown). I love the fit, the 2 sided belt is such a fun detail, the open collar and epaulettes look sharp, the leather feels soft (not stiff) as does the wool. Someone had mentioned the Sam Edelman lettering on the buttons - I found this detail to be subtle (and I am particular). I did not find this coat to be too heavy which is great because I live in San Francisco and will be able to wear this throughout most of the year. I cannot wait for it to stop raining so I can rock it! For size reference, I am 5'4, 135 lbs, 32-27-38 with small shoulders and the size 0 fit really really well.
