Miss Jane Pump (Women)

I love these shoes. I always wear a 37 or a 6.5 in other brands, even boots, but I listened to the size suggestion and went with the 37.5 and they are very comfortable. European shoes that run in 37 are usually big on me I just never see them in like a 36.5 but I usually add padding. I had to get these in a 37.5. If they didn't have the strap I just wouldn't get them because I think they would be too big without the strap and too small for comfort in my normal size. This was the last pair Nordstrom had at the time of my purchase so I couldn't even choose a different size anyway. For reference I have size 37 boots in zadig voltaire, a size 4.5 paul smith boot, 6.5 heel in reformation and a 6.5 heel in Stuart weitzman. I really never wear heels but I can wear these all day long. I have a narrow heel and wide foot with a very high arch and most shoes are uncomfortable but these are super comfortable and I have walked around all day in them several times. I love them and they match everything. I would like a white pair or a pink pair. These are my first of this brand so I can't compare them to other shoes of this brand.

I went to Nordstrom Fashion Square Scottsdale to purchase a pair of Christian Louboutins, which is one of my very favorite designer shoes. I have no ever bought these shoes outside of the CL boutique; but today I had a time constraint and found that this particular Nordstrom had quite a display of CL shoes. I tried on the CL Mary Jane and it was sold out in store. The salesperson said he would have them sent , while paying I stated adamantly that I did not want any display model shoes sent to me and he wrinkled his nose and said , "Nordstrom would absolutely not do that'. I went on my way and continued to shop. A few days later my new CL Mary Janes arrive and they were the display shoes! I am SO SO disappointed. I immediately reached out to Nordstrom and the agent was also appalled. I stated that if these were the only pair then I wanted them discounted or an expedited shipping on a new pair, as I need them for this coming Friday night. She said they could be returned to the store, and even though she was apologetic, her supervisor would not allow for a discount on the display show and even noted that they should not have been sent without any notice to me for a full price! I don't have time for the back and forth. I will now go to the actual Christian Louboutin Boutique and be treated with champagne and know I am receiving a true real show that is brand new and not a display shoe that 1000 people put their sweaty feet and then was sent off to me hoping I would not say anything about it... at full price which was over $900. Do better Nordstrom. You are known for being the best. SO be the best.
