there is a right way to use this
I’m a huge fan of La Mer, but you have to know how to use these creams. First off, this particular version is for combo skin. So if you’re dry and wondering why “it’s not working,” it’s bc you should be using the Creme de La Mer version. This version is the Soft Cream, which sinks into the skin faster and probably not a good option for drier skin or climates. There’s also a process behind using this the correct way - take a small amount on your finger tips and rub your finger tips together. This will emulsify the cream into a more spread out version that you can then PRESS ONTO your skin all over your face. Then pat, and then gently sub the emulsified cream like a regular moisturizer. Ensure all skin surface is fully covered by the cream, and then move onto your next skincare product. This cream isn’t sticky and absorbs quickly without drying - which makes it ideal for combo skin. I like how it feels after applying, and I don’t feel like my makeup is slipping sliding everywhere. Love it!

I’ve been a Nordstrom customer for several decades and tonight I was treated bad or worse than I’ve ever been treated at Nordstrom‘s. Nazmun who was condescending & rude & made me feel like I was worthless just the way she acted. I don’t know why because I was extremely courteous & actually completely weather at first, and then after a while, I just let her know how rude she was being And it appears that Nordstrom you may want it appears that for some reason she convinced Nordstrom that she would be a good sales representative. She’s is not a matter of fact I feel so offended by purchasing from her after the way I was treated. I am returning every item that I bought from her. which is more than $600 worth of items from the Le mer. Even though I received 10 points per dollar I would rather return it and give her the compliment Because she does not deserve any commission whatsoever. She’s extremely rude and condescending. She could use some training in manners. Will be returning item. I do not want this person to receive commission. I will re-buy and forfeit my 10 points.

Soft Cream
I use the reg cream around the eye and neck but it's too heavy for the rest of my face so I thought this would be perfect. It was not. It burned my skin. Literally. My cheeks started stinging and turned bright red, and then I got red bumps that looked like small blisters. Even after washing off I ended up having to put on an ointment I used for a bad sunburn.
