works great for me
During lockdown I took the opportunity to detox my armpits. I am sooo glad I did bc using natural deodorants work as intended on me. I’ve tried practically everyone that’s on the market & yes, some work better than others but I’ve never thought about rebuying one…until now.
Like most I saw this repeatedly in my IG feed & had to check it out. As Santal is one of my favorite scents I didn’t really have anything to lose.
Immediately I noticed how soft the product is & it applies easily. I don’t have to use much of it either. I also noticed it doesn’t get clumpy or leave a heavy residue on my clothing either.
I live in Vegas where summer has been brutal, in excess of 111 a good majority of the time. You need something that works and this stuff actually works - and works really well - for me. I’m really impressed. I don’t smell the deodorant and more importantly I don’t smell myself.
And yeah - detox those pits. You have to if you’re going to try a natural and/or aluminum free/baking soda free deodorant. It takes 6-8 weeks to do so - you will have to reapply this throughout the day & you will smell yourself until you’re detoxed. But once you are…oh boy!

good not great
I will say this is the best non-aluminum deodorant I’ve tried. The cons: the deodorant is not smooth, it’s grainy, so it doesn’t feel great when you put it on (it doesn’t have a nice smooth glide ). Also, I’ve noticed after wearing it for a couple of weeks, it is making my armpits darker. Yes, like darkening the skin 😳

Very bad deodorant
I was looking for a new deodorant and had heard okay things about it, so I ordered it. Right from the start when I opened it, it had a a distinct strong smell. When I finally started using it it caused a weird BO smell, I tried pushing through but it was not getting any better and I normally don’t produce such smell so this one really enhanced a bad smell. By far the worst deodorant I’ve ever used.

Broken Deodorant
This deodorant crumbled halfway through using it while there was still plenty left, so I could not even finish it. I did not purchase it from Nordstrom but directly from the Salt & Stone website. When I reached out to their customer service, Avery from their team only offered me a 10% discount code because my order was from last year. That response was unacceptable. A premium brand should stand behind its products and treat customers better. Very disappointed and will not repurchase. See pictures.
