Polar Bear Waterproof Hooded Jacket

This is the 2nd Mini Boden coat I’ve purchased for my boys and I’m so impressed! I purchased 2 North Face coats and one from Costco and this was by far the winner. The value is incredible, as nearly every fiat feature available is on this coat. The coat is roomy and gives my 5 year old room to move and grow. At Zoo Lights he easily fit 2 extra layers underneath. The fabric gloves keep his hands warm when he refuses to wear gloves. The camo pattern with orange details is fun and makes him easy to spot in a crowd. The material performs very well in the rain and has good reflectivity. The hood is warm and fully secures around the face (and can be removed), which my son says makes him like a ninja. The interior button/strap was something I though we wouldn’t like but it holds his coat down when he jumps on the trampoline or plays at the playground. Mini Boden runs big and I can get 2 winters out of them. Living in Portland, our winters are about 25-50 degrees (with rain) but this coat could handle slightly colder temps. I wouldn’t change a thing, and I’m a picky shopper and only like to buy one coat for winter.

Very well made coat and great value. Like the reflective strips. The thumbholes so far are a really nice feature, although do wonder how they'll endure. There's been a few days under freezing and this has kept it's wearer very warm. It's truly waterproof and perfect for the winter. Main complaint is that the hood snaps too tight proportionately (maybe the wearer has an disproportionate head?) So we can't use easily, and it's a little boxy. Not the absolute best for the long and lean but not oversized either. Nice color, nice style. Recommend!
