Millie Imitation Pearl & Crystal Detail Floral Cocktail Midi Dress

This dress is beautiful and I received so many compliments on it but there are 2 things to make note of - first and foremost, the 'jewels' are prong set and they get snagged on everything they come in contact with... any shawl or coat you may wear on top of it or (and worse!) anyone else's clothing that you may come in contact with. A bit stressful at a wedding! Also, the dress photographs horribly! It looks so much better on than in any photos you'll see of yourself. In photos, the skirt does not look quite like the online pictures. It looks big and a little shapeless and I'm a size 4, 125 lbs and not short at 5'6". After I saw a couple of photos from the front, I needed to turn to the side or try to pull some of the skirt bulk behind me. I would have returned the dress for the issue with the jewels catching on everything had I had become aware of it in time to find another dress before my event. *For this review, Nordstrom asks what size I usually wear but only gives a '2' as the choice for my answer. I wear a 4 usually and this fit true to size.
