Miller Penny Loafer (Men)

Great looking loafer that actually fits! Been searching for a good fit in a penny loafer for years - something that fits like a pair of J&Ms I had back in the 80s. I wear a 10.5 B in almost every AE shoe I have but never had luck with the loafers. Randolph and Patriot both are loose and require a pad under the tongue/vamp and a 10B is too short. Other styles have come and gone and never worked either. The Miller is perfect and fits right out of the box. I hate it that they cost so much and don't seem notably better finished than other AE cordovan shoes I own, but for the fit, it's worth it. And I doubt I'll ever need another pair of loafers considering how long a shoe like this will last. That they fit me this well may mean that those who get a good fit out of the other AE loafer styles may need to size up. But for me, they are as good as it gets.

They feel sturdy right out of the box but broke in quickly and are surprisingly comfortable for how structured they are. I’ve worn them to work and out to dinner, and they fit in perfectly either way. If you’re looking for a shoe that looks great and holds up over time, these are worth every penny. Highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Miller Reserve Penny Loafer in Walnut is a gorgeous shoe. It is the perfect business and smart casual loafer. Very versatile. It fits true to size but is a little wide and lacks a little dimension, but I’ve worn them a few times and I received many compliments. I also love the latex sole.
