Mid Rise Cigarette Leg Jeans

Something I rarely see in manufacturer descriptions or in consumer reviews is what body shape the clothing item fits. I'm always looking for that and I've bought COUNTLESS pairs of jeans from Nordstrom only to return every single pair because they aren't made for my particular body shape. So I'm leaving a review to let everyone know I've finally found a pair of plus size jeans that actually fit my sole body shape. Hallelujah! I bought 4 different styles of slink brand jeans in my order, and this is the only one that fits my shape. The others are, as per usual, made to fit more of an hourglass/pear shaped body. To help you out even further, I'll list my measurements. I'm 5'6, 240 lbs, slightly longer torso than legs, smallest part of my waist is 44 inches, largest part of my waist measured at my belly button is 49 inches, and fullest part of my hips is 49 inches. I bought the 18W and it fits like a glove everywhere and the length is perfect for me. And the jeans are not too skinny at all but also not too wide at all (like some plus size jeans can get). I'm an elder millennial so I've had trouble letting go of my skinnies and these are the perfect in betweener! Note: Above in my review where it says "sole", it should have said "apple" and I can't go back and fix it. Also note that these do have a seem all the way down the front center of each leg. I think it's a cute detail. And they're also not quite as super dark black as they look on the model, unfortunately. Or maybe for you it's fortunately.
