Great versatile skirt
Unlike other reviewers I really enjoy the fabric. It’s heavy and I don’t think it seems cheap at all. It’s a tad bit silkier than I expected. The pleats are abundant and make the piece feel luxurious. It really moves and swishes when you walk, or in the breeze. It hangs nicely and I find it very flattering. This does run large, I am a size 12ish and chose Large and definitely could have gone with a Medium. (For reference I’m 5’5” and 164). I also wish it had pockets.
I styled it casually with a white t-shirt, brown leather belt and flat platinum sandals and got a ton of compliments. I think this will also work great with my cropped chambray button-down from J.Crew, or an oversized sweater and loafers this fall, or a graphic tee and denim jacket. But I could also see it with a blouse, blazer and heels for a work meeting. Overall a versatile, flattering and comfortable piece!
