Notch Collar Wool Blend Coat

This coat is beautiful, amazing color, hangs perfectly. They cut corners on the fabric quality and lack of buttons on the cuffs. The fabric has inconsistencies most likely from light friction during the assembly process. The cuffs look like they were meant to have buttons but they changed the design last minute because adding button holes and buttons is a significant expense. Might keep it and know it will only last a single season since the cut and color is so stunning.

I purchased this coat with the understanding that it would be beautiful, bright and cozy. It was none of the above. I wanted to put sweaters underneath the coat, but it was pretty snug, and only able to fit a semi thick, long sleeve and scarf underneath, comfortably. The coat has a dark, mustard color, and does not give off the bright beautiful vibe expected from the picture on the website. It’s reminiscent of 70’s decor mustard. Clearly the image has been adjusted to project something brighter. Since Nordstrom hasn’t put out a coat like this in eons, I was really excited about this coat. Now I’m sad, and have to return it.

Ordered the dark camel color. The color is lovely. I am between sizes and after reading reviews that it ran slightly small, I ordered larger instead of smaller. Unfortunately, my experience is that it runs VERY large. I could wear another coat underneath this one and still button it up. The camel color is now sold out entirely and I’m hoping it comes back in stock quickly.
