Return or replace / try another?
I love the look of this bag. It’s beautiful, but my entire wedding day this zipper was a struggle to pull closed. It’s ridiculous how hard it is. I had to leave my purse open and if bag tipped or car bumped / jerked things were falling out. Zippers are important. They need to be strong for sure but functional.

My absolute favorite purse.
Love this purse! I have of pure in many colors. It is just the right size for me. Big enough I have room for the "always necessary" plus the occasional extras. My oldest one is about 15 years old and still looks great. The purse has lost a couple of inside pockets over the years but gained an outside one so all is well.

Not the Michael Kors I Remember!
Unfortunately this brand is not what it use to be. I own and have purchased a number of purses over the last 10 years and they were all fantastic. However, I find the quality has dropped dramatically! The zipper on this bag feels like it’s going to fail within the first six months. Not only that, I received the purse in a paper bag, not a box, with no dust cover. I would expect this if I may be ordered from the outlet store, but not when I’ve ordered from Michael Kors direct. I’m giving this one as a gift and I’m hoping it lasts.

Favorite basic “big” bag.
I got this in white last spring, and used it for a couple of days before seeing the handy dandy pocket that just exactly fits my iPod Air. Carried that bag all summer, on airplanes, through crowded airports, malls and restaurants. Navy is my go to color rather than black, so I got it in navy for the rest of the year. I like this bag because it holds a lot of stuff, works just fine slung on my shoulder (and I am short and dumpy), doesn't crumple and fall over. Is not fussy with chains and zippers and obtrusive logos.
