not amazing
although this michael aram tree of life menorah appears 3- dimmensional & impressive from a front view with proper lighting, it is in fact a very flat & linear casting in its' overall proportion. at the price of $160 + tax the casting needs at least another 5 inches of height & width, branches which protrude perpendicularly to create actual volume, & should be solid, rather than hollow. with those additions, i would feel satisfied with the price to value ratio. as it is, the piece is sitting on my mantle in the prospect that it may grow on me. nordstrom service was excellent as always & the aram packaging aids in giving the menorah a sense of respect. however i'm still stuck on the criticisms i mentioned above. if able, or other thoughts come to mind, i may update this review.
