Beautiful elegant trivet
I am a fan of Michael Aram . I had the butterfly gingko canisters for the kitchen and these trivets go nicely with it . No problem yet (as another review indicate peeling) and I am sure Aram will warranty it or Nordstrom will take care of it as well if there is any issues. For now they look beautiful in my kitchen . It's a beautiful art.

did not last
so not only did the finish start to come off, even with careful care but the little peg legs also disintegrated after a while. I did not put this in the dishwasher. I followed all the care instructions. It's certainly beautiful but I would give it no stars if I could.

Great piece, great as a gift
I am not a huge fan of Michael Aram myself, I mean I like his designs but do no fill every corner of my house and kitchen with his pieces. HOWEVER, this is a great gift for someone who is, and that is exactly why I bought it (and gifted it)
