Poorly made
I’m shocked at how cheap this feels given the price point and brand. The zipper closures on the pockets are flimsy and the snaps that attach the hood are also small and weak (the hood keeps unsnapping when I go to pull it up over my head). I wouldn’t recommend and I’m super disappointed with the quality and construction of this coat.

slim fit?!?
It feels nice, but the moment I saw it… it looked small. Than I looked at the tag and said slim fit. It does NOT mention anywhere in the description about being slim fit. So I would say it runs small than add slim fit to that. It is a return.

Runs very small
Ordered a 1X and it barely fit to put my arms in but nowhere near closing. I am 5ft 11 and wear an 18/20. I would guess based on the way this one fit that I should have gone for a 3X. It felt very lightweight and thin, was warm to try on but not sure with having it open, I could really know. Wish Northface would not advertise plus sizes when they aren’t.

Keeps you warm, but hood keeps falling off.
This is a really warm coat. However, the hood comes off ALL the time. I'm about to get some safety pins to try and keep it on, and I think it's ridiculous that I have to do that. Poor design, North Face.

Hood and Zipper Defects
I am so disappointed in this coat. I have worn it a handful of times and the zipper won’t work. Not when the coat is on or off. Also, the hood is worthless. It constantly falls off. I’m hoping NF will replace or refund. $300 wasted.
