Meteorites Compact Mattifying Pressed Setting Powder

I just received this item in the mail today, having just ordered it yesterday afternoon! A few things to know: The compact is very beautiful but the powder is Very Fragrant and it lingers for quite a while. Strangely this beautiful compact isn’t metal, but gold tone plastic and not heavy which was very disappointing, considering the price of it, and it isn’t refillable, and it doesn’t come with a protective compact sleeve. Now, it’s very lovely, but nothing like the original ones we collected all those years ago. Now, the formula (in my opinion) is more of a true finishing powder. It locks on and doesn’t change at all. At all. It’s like a soft veil on your skin. I purchased shade 2 I’m light to light medium Olive/neutral undertone and I can still use it. Cool in the title was a bit scary to me, but I was afraid #3 would be too tan or warm on me. I will be using this often, but wish it was refillable and had more shades for those of us in between skin tones, and who are neutral in skin-tone. I do recommend it as a pressed powder for after applying your makeup and for collectors. In the loose pearl version I got # 3 warm some time back and it’s perfect as well. It’s not very “warm.” Guerlain has to get more skin tone friendly…not just deeper shades but those of us who are olive and neutral!!
