this particular model is not good
We own many pairs of Merrell shoes and almost all of them are great. This particular model, however, was not good. From the start, the padding behind the heels were not properly secured. The heel padding inside shifted easily and quickly botched to a mess. This happened within the first 2 weeks. We took them back to the store for an exchange. BUT the second pair had the exact same problem within 2 weeks.
None of our other Merrell shoes for both adults and kids had the same problem. We wear Merrells for over 15 years and this is the first pair that truly disappointed.

Comfy & Durable Shoes
Have had these shoes for almost a year for my 4 & 8 year Olds- have held up super well and just bought the next size up for each.

Disappointed
I got these shoes in purple for my daughter the beginning of the school year, by December, the seam on the front has come apart, the Velcro has come apart. I have actually been pretty disappointed in how these shoes have held up on the playground.

Poor quality
I bought these shoes for my 4 year old about 2 months ago. The velcro has already completely come off one of the shoes so he can no longer wear them.
