Tread Wears Fast
My child and I were both excited about these boots when we bought them. They fit well and offered excellent ankle support, making them perfect for hiking. We were looking forward to a spring and summer full of outdoor adventures with them.
Unfortunately, after just six weeks of wearing them to school about 3 days a week and a few moderate hikes (2–3 hikes around five miles each), the tread already shows significant wear, and the laces have started to fray. For boots at this price point, I expected much better durability. It’s disappointing that they haven’t held up longer.

Short hikes moderate terrain
Bought these for my son and we have been on 2 hikes. The great steps at the Palisades and Rockefeller State Park. No complaints his feet stayed dry until he went ankle deep in the stream... Lol other then that he said they were okay. The only problem was the boots appeared to have a layer or skim that peeled from the bottom after the first hike. It was if it was a layer of paint that peeled off. But discoloration and the boots work as expected. If any change will up date and that's why I gave them 4 stars.
