Love! Lasted a few years of hard yard work!

Loved these boots so much that I just came looking for a new pair to replace them. I really wear them hard, working in the garden and doing yard work in them. They are very comfortable. I got waterproof ones and they were stiffer - better for hiking than yard work. Over time these have had the expected wear - loose stitch on the toe, lost the aglet on one lace - but I can't give them up so I ordered a new pair of these and also trying the Speed Strike 2! They arrive soon!

Didn’t hold up

I wore these hiking for months, they did not last feel like I’m walking on pavement my feet hurt after months of wear. I never had an issue with previous hiking shoes from Merrell. These did not hold up and in colder temps my feet were got cold and just an awful experience with them. Only had them 8months too. I love the style and the lightweight of the shoe but just didn’t hold up for basic hiking or everyday wear. Very disappointed

Buyers BEWARE!

I purchased these boots for full price Nordstrom online. They arrived shoved in a makeshift box with NORDSTROM RACK stickers with a shoe price of $89.97!!! What kind of shady operation are you running, Nordstrom?!

Best lightweight hiking shoe ever

After wearing another brand for years, even completing the AT, I didn’t think I could find a better hiking shoe. These are it! Lightweight, very comfortable, stable (unlike any I’ve ever had), and just all around great! I have orthotics that fit well inside this shoe. With my bunions and flat feet, I’ve been told I shouldn’t be hiking, yet I’ve done several long hikes in these and have ended the day with happy feet.

Good impression

My daughter used these to hike 11 miles into the wilderness and up a 9500 foot peak and 11 miles back out. She wore them for 4x days straight. She had not broken them in, but they were comfortable to her the entire time and never caused blisters. They seemed to have good traction on all surfaces.
