Discontinued Merrell Shoe
I love these shoes for everyday use and for trail hiking. I have bought at least 6 pairs and wear them out over time and get new ones without looking at any others. That is because they work so well for me. But Merrell is discontinuing them which is a total bummer. I will have to go out and test all the brands now for the new perfect shoe.

Durable, with tough soles
So far so good. Wore them to explore Tikal and Antigua in Guatemala, didn't twist any ankles!
Very stiff rubber on the soles though, and despite how they look, they are somewhat slick on hard surfaces. Especially wet hard surfaces.

A Moab for More Civilized Adventures
Want some rugged Merrells that look smart? These are my only Moabs that I won't take to the dog park! I want to keep the claws off the leather. Plus, it is good to have a pair that isn't covered in mud. Same epic arch support and traction. Love.
