Moab 3 Wide Hiking Shoe (Men)

I had the first version of these shoes and I liked them except for the wet traction of the soles. That pair lasted for over ten years and I was hesitant to replace them because so many things tend not to be as good as they used to be. Well, I'm here to report that the v3 fits better (I have wide feet), looks better and I think it's a better build. The sole traction is improved but there's still some slip on wet rocks - not nearly as bad as the first version. It's rare for me that a pair of shoes is this comfortable out of the box. I'm not a huge hiker - just paths in the local park or a state cavern - nothing intense. These shoes are perfect for that.
