Moab 3 Waterproof Hiking Shoe (Women)

I often walk through shallow streams and marshy areas with my dog. These off-trail hikes were no problem with my old hiking sneakers from another brand, so I figured buying my next pair of waterproof hiking shoes from Merrell would work even better. First off, these sneakers are SO HEAVY!! The hardest part of hikes became just lugging around the weight of snow boots that are somehow compressed into the size of an average sneaker. Although annoying, I figured I would eventually adjust to the extra weight, and was excited to walk up the streams as I always did but now with my new waterproof sneakers… until my feet IMMEDIATELY GOT WET. No, the water was not higher than my shoes, but only a couple of centimeters deep when it started seeping into these “waterproof” bricks. The only legitimate purpose for these shoes is to slow you down if trying to run away from sketchy people in the woods.
