Moab 3 Mid Waterproof Hiking Shoe (Men)

These are not waterproof. They were only a few months old and had not been worn much before we went hiking in CO. Short family hike with the dogs. We came upon a shallow stream and let the dogs play in the water. I was hopping from small rock to small rock, flat rocks about softball size, to try and stay out of the water. Then I thought why am I so worried, my shoes are waterproof. I stepped into the water which was only a few inches deep where I was and I felt this cool sensation but figured it had to be the coolness of the cold stream. I continued to walk in the shallow water and within a minute could tell they were letting water pass thru almost as if they were not waterproof. Upon exiting I sat on a bench and removed both shoes and socks and they were completely wet. Besides that, I really like the shoes.
