Jungle Slip-On (Men)

I started wearing the Merrell Jungle Mock Nubuck about 15 years ago. I had a sports related injury which started affecting my knee and hip along with my balance and ambulation. Bending over to tie my shoes was really difficult and I set out to find some quality Moccasins or Deck Shoes. I was in my early 50's then and searched for a while only to be frustrated and finding overpriced sports shoes endorsed by athletes made out of horrible material. Long story short I found this wonderful shoe. I'm 67 now and still have balance issues plus old age. I could not imagine my day...my life, without this Shoe. A pair usually lasts me 3 years (and that's just because the soles wear unevenly due to my weird stride) granted, I don't run in them or walk a lot more than a 1/4 mile or so per day, BUT I wear them for every occasion. Work, sitting, walking, shopping, out to eat, friends and family outings. Everywhere. They always look new. Elegant. I brush them occasionally. Impervious to rain. Warm in cold weather. Cool and dry in hot weather. After a week or two of break-in they literally feel like a glove, yet supportive. Not too firm. Not too soft. Just right! With socks or without. My feet rarely ache after wearing them for 10 hours plus every weekday and at least 4 or 5 hours on weekends. I know it sounds too good to be true but they are a quality product and I hope and pray they never stop making them or change them in any way. Thank you Merrell for being one of those Companies, that in my life, has become synonymous with top notch first class quality.
