Prissie Ankle Strap Sandal (Women)

I have had 2 pairs of this basic style before with adjustment across the top and loved them especially as they tend to run narrower than most Mephisto styles; however this particular style was too wide with no adjustment. Had to return as the forward part of foot moved around too much to be comfortable. Hope to see Mephisto style in the future with two velcro straps again for my narrower feet.

As a previous personal stylist, lingerie and shoe fit specialist here, I spare just about no expense when it comes to shoes. I tried the Vionic first because they, too, have arch support, but the inside was suede and rough so just walking through the house, my feet hurt. I popped for these in both colors because, too, a lot of shoes hit in the wrong spot, showcasing the widest part of your foot that makes it look like you bought them too small. These are perfect and though I will only wear them with slacks or a long skirt (my mantra; nude shoes with a short skirt lengthens your legs) they don't look old lady~like for my advanced age. Always one to stick with silver hardware as well, these are perfect. Something I learned along the way; if you wear a half sized shoe, you can pretty much go down one half size if you're opting for open toe. Mostly always so try them on! I wear a 7 1/2 and always end up with a 7 open toe.

I wanted this pair of shoes so badly! Comfy and attractive, I ordered them in black. Too small! So I tried the beautiful light tan suede pair, hoping that the black sizing was an anomaly but no such luck sadly. Definitely don’t size down for half sizes, size up! Otherwise these shoes are perfect!
