what terrific boots!
These Mephisto boots are so comfortable! I love the ring eyelets instead of hole eyelets allowing me to tighten the entire shoe tongue area at a single pull of the laces. They fit beautifully. I am using the same size as in my previous Mephisto boots. And, of course, these boots are beautifully made.

Heartbreaking disappointment
I have owned Mephisto shoes for 25 years and these shoes do not come anywhere near the standard of quality I have come to know and expect from this brand. These were made on Bosnia and not France. It was a stretch to pay $479 for the shoes but when that quality of workmanship was so disappointing I returned them and ordered the same model shoe again. The second pair was worse than the first pair. Loved the look but just had to return the second pair due poor workmanship.

what terrific boots!
These Mephisto boots are so comfortable! I love the ring eyelets instead of hole eyelets allowing me to tighten the entire shoe tongue area at a single pull of the laces. They fit beautifully. I bought this boot several months ago and have worn them daily through the Maine winter and on wood trails with my dog. They have been extremely comfortable through snow and mud, clearly the best boots I have ever owned. Highly recommended.
