Size Down a Full Size

Top-quality design, materials and stiching. I normally wear a 10 1/2, U.S. sizing; 9 1/2 fits just right. It's made in Portugal, according to the inside label. I like that it's not made in China or another country with similarly sketchy materials and/or labor practices.

Sizing advice was of base and fit may be a problem

The online video said to get a full size smaller than normal. I want so sure, but ordered them. As a precaution, i also ordered a half size smaller. Strangely, the two pairs were both Paco's, but we're very different models. What they had in common was the were both too small. I had to send them back. Bad advice on sizing. Also, while the smaller pair felt good at the ankle, the other had slightly higher sides and got the sides of my ankles causing discomfort. I'm sure they would have led to problems. So, the high sides may not fit all get. For the most expensive shoes I've ever bought, i was very disappointed. ON THE GOOD SIDE, this is Nordstrom and the returns were painless and refund was quick. I know i can buy from Nordstrom online with confidence. I'll always be a Nordstrom customer, and have been since my first suit when i was 10, over 60 years ago.

Attractive Walking Shoes

Mephisto makes the most comfortable shoes! I bought these for my husband and he really likes them. Note: Men don't tend to "love" shoes. I have a few pairs of Mephisto myself. I love them! The color is a good looking subtle olive/brown. This style tends to run very large. My size 12 husband dropped down to a size 11. Important to know.

Love this shoe in this color!

I bought these for my husband for a gift. They were a hit (and he's very picky). The sizing is not normal, however. You have to size down quite a bit (7 vs. 8.5 US sizing). He went to a Mephisto store to get his correct size and then we exchanged them for the correct size at Nordstrom. He and I both love them in this color.

Great shoes

Excellent shoes. Runs large. Beautifully made, though may take a little time to break in . We ordered a 10 1/2…instead of a 11. Fit perfectly. Worth the $$$$.
