Great Sandals
I ended up sizing up to a 39 after reading the recommendation on the tag that came with the shoes. The size 38 outer edge was hitting my foot the wrong way. Snd note. My feet are narrow. Cute sandals for bumming around. Sturdy and well made.

Painful
The material that inserts between your toes is very stiff and angularly cut. It gave me blisters and cuts, hurt so much I can’t wear them. I wish I could love them as the soles are comfy but I can’t get past the painful toes.

True to size and well made
My first time with Mephisto brand. I could never find any Birks fit my true size 5M feet and could not get their look and comfort either. I decided to give Mephisto a try since they have size 35 available and look narrower and softer than Birks. These Mephisto Helen Flower shoes are comfortable out of the box and cradle my feet with just a little room to wiggle. Definitely more slender and refined than Birks. However, I was still not sure about the look. My feet look “sunk” into the soles of the shoes. The side view clearly shows too much shoe for my feet. The flowers are well made but a bit overwhelming. The taupe color is lovely and go with many outfits. Maybe I should try the version without the flowers? Or maybe this kind of “lipped” cork sandals are not for me.

My New Favorite Sandals
These are amazing. They feel heavenly on.....a little more comfortable than Birkenstocks. I was worried about the toe piece which usually bothers me. But that piece is pretty soft and did not hurt today when I wore them. Snatch these up. I bought my true size.

I love the shoes
I love the shoes, so much that I had bought several pairs. The taupe color goes with everything; the black and yellow have the most pop. They’re comfortable, and if you have bunions, as I do, the flower is not only pretty, but it helps deflect and make your feet look less wide.

Mephisto is more comfortable than Birkenstock
I really love these. The fit was true to size and the taupe color is a great color to wear with most anything. Mephisto has a foot bed that is cushioned and way more comfortable than my Birkenstocks. I wore these right of the box. No breaking in required.

love these, like a house slipper, comfortable
