Glasgow Plaid Sweater Tights

I had to come and write a review because I invested time trying to find tights that fit me. Nice quality and great for this cold weather the entire US is having. I'm 5' 9.5" (the .5 inches are necessary), I wear a size 18/20. Hips, thighs and booty heavy. These tights fit really well. I went crazy on the sizing (3x/4x). I could have gotten a size smaller but I wanted to ensure the tights didn't stop short. I risked it all and got two pair - the other is a different pattern but also MeMoi. I will be writing this same review there...don't be alarmed if you see this again :-)

I am 5’4”, 140 lbs. I have thick thighs for my size; I originally bought a small/medium as I was on the cusp of the size guide and the medium/large was sold out. They fit fine but were just a bit too snug. I returned the s/m, went ahead and bought the large/ x large and can’t even tell the difference. If anything these feel tighter and I can’t get the pattern all the way up my entire thigh. The size guide states the L/XL is for women who are at least 5’6” and 170 lbs. I’m well below these measurements, so I’m just confused at how any women who are closer to those measurements are supposed to fit these. That being said, it seems not many other people noted issues with the sizing so maybe I got a defective pair. Going to order a plus size pair because I really love the pattern but this will be my third time ordering this item. If it doesn’t work I’ll call it quits and accept I wasn’t meant to have them.
