Print Square Neck Long Sleeve Stretch Velvet Dress

Maybe there is something wrong with me, but I could not get the shoulders on this dress to stay up, and I believe it is designed to be intentionally slightly off the shoulder. This was not at all obvious to me based on the description and lack of photo on a model. There is a silicone strip along the neckline and shoulders to hold it in place. I first ordered my usual size, XL, but found it was way too oversized in the chest and shoulders, especially considering that it is slightly off the shoulder. I ordered an L and found that one fit much better though I still could have possibly sized down to a M considering I didn't need to use the zipper to get on and off. It has a lot of stretch, and I found it to be very flattering on all areas, especially the waistline and hips. Still, I would have preferred if it were a regular square neck rather than off the shoulder. Great 90s vibe!
