Runs small contrary to size guide

Beautiful top but fabric had horrible smell
The top is beautiful and nicely styled. However, the sweater smells like bad body odor. I am returning it. I earlier ordered this same top directly from Misook. It was too small and had the same odor but less strong. I returned it and ordered a larger size from Nordstrom not expecting to have the same experience with the odor. Perhaps the odor has something to do with the fabric - not sure but definitely a noticeable bad odor.
