Fake leather for $630 leather = No

Too heavy and straps too thin and then I discovered it was fake leather- not cool for the price. Returned it for the actual real leather hobo for $114 less, which I love.

Just, okay..

I've been wanting an MCM bag for awhile now. I'm not a huge fan of monograms and thought this was just enough. I purchased online and it arrived quickly and well packaged. The bag itself is beautiful! I love the perfect mix of black and monogram. The zipper closure is a great feature for someone wanting a bag with more security. I also love the little D-hook on the front - perfect for adding a bag charm! The front slip pocket is nice and deep - you wouldn't have to worry about your phone popping out or being seen! However, I decided to return the bag and look for something else. This bag is much larger then expected. I'm 5'6" with a medium-athletic fit frame and it felt overwhelming to me. The bottom of the bag is not structured. After adding in my purse contents, the tote looked droopy. I hope MCM updates this bag in the future - slightly smaller, more structured bottom and removable shoulder strap option - then this would be my ideal bag!

Finally Found an MCM Tote

I have been looking for an MCM tote for quite a while. My search finally ended when I found this tote in Latte Beige. It immediately caught my eye in the store and I had to take it home. The tote is just the right size to carry everything that's needed for a day on the town with or without baby. As an aside, I believe the online description was incorrect initially for this tote when it stated that the leather was not real. It appears that Nordstrom has corrected the description. I believe the solid color part of the tote is leather and the MCM logo print part is synthetic. If that is not correct, perhaps Nordstrom could weigh in with an accurate description. Thank you.

Over sized Tote

Loved the style of the bag. There are great compartments and lots of room. The bag was slightly larger than I like. The leather did not look or smell real. That annoyed me so I returned it.
