Vik Hooded Wool Blend Wrap Coat

Fell in love with this coat in store, but very disappointed to find out that this coat was made in China. I thought it was made in Italy. The description probably only says “imported” and not made in China as to not deter customers from buying it, as the quality of products made their is not so great. But for spending a little over $1,200 after taxes you’d think they could at least make this in Italy like their other items! Very upset, I will be returning and looking elsewhere.

Gorgeous. I have another Max Mara (the Manuela) in camel hair, but decided to get this too for more casual occasions. Gorgeous. Just so classic and will last forever. Too bad we spend most of our time in So Cal, this kind of coat makes you want it to be snowy and cold more often. Protip; I am a size 14, pretty much, but I find the size 12 in Max Mara outer wear is plenty big for me. Six 14 or size 16 is HUGE. Definitely size down.

I saw someone mentioned the coat is made in China, so the quality is not well. When I receive the coat, it was not thick than I thought, but it has good length that I don’t have to wear a formal thickness coat in some not super cold days. It’s perfect for some casual going out days.
