Explorer Plus Water Resistant Faux Leather Backpack

I bought one of bags last year. But one of the zippers is broken. It broke after only 14 months of use. How can I trust and buy it again? Should I keep paying $100-150 every year to replace it? I used to have Coach and Fossil products before. They lasted 5-6 years without any issues. And some stitches on the opening part of the bag have come undone. When I contacted the company, they said I had to pay almost the same price as what I originally paid for the repair. I also had to cover the shipping cost to send it to Hong Kong. They offered a 50% discount coupon and said it would be better to buy a new bag.
