Beautiful Aviators
I am a proud owner of several Ray-Ban aviators, ranging from different colors, to polarized and non-polarized. I was missing a Gold/Bronze combination in my collection. While vacationing in Maui, I came across a Maui Jim conference, and decided to look into this brand. I loved their history and those who own Maui Jims rave about them. So, I decided to invest in these Mavericks. They. Are. Beautiful!! Super light, and the color and polarization is just perfect!!! Dare I say it: they are even better than Ray-Bans! Absolutely LOVE them!!
I would advice you to order them on-line, just because they come sealed and un-touched, all within the Maui Jim box and case along w/ cloth protector. Something that can sometimes be missed when in store, since a lot of the displayed sunglasses ARE the ones you purchase and have been pretty much manhandled by everyone!

Two defective pairs in a row!
While Nordstrom's return policy has been very helpful, I have had nothing but frustration with my $300 Maui Jim Mavericks. My first pair rapidly developed flares and delamination of the polarizing film. I returned them to Nordstrom, and a replacement pair was mailed to my home. Upon initial inspection I saw that there was a pit or chip on the inside of one of the lenses. Not visible from the outside, it is still a manufacturing defect. Honestly, it should never have been sent to me. Someone should have seen this defect before mailing me the pair. I really am not pleased, and can only assume that Maui Jim's quality control standards and production values are way over-rated.

They are so light and you can wear them for hours without them feeling heavy or hurting behind your ears. I wear them everywhere

Awesome Sunglasses
I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he loves them! Between the two of us we've purchased5 pair of Maui Jim's and love each one. They look perfect on his face and the polarized lenses are great for snow or sun.

Awesome!
I have been looking for the perfect set of ray bans, but either the lens are huge or too small (my friends have had this problem too). I finally gave up when I saw these beauties!!! Great gold color! They are a little big, but not as huge as the ray ban lens. If you want smaller go with another design. The price tag is a little steep, but I'm happy. I used to have 3 pairs of random sunglasses that were okay, but didn't make me smile when I wore them, now I know I rather have just one pair of Maui Jims! If I was to make one compliant it is so far the few days I have had them I can't get all the smudges off the lens, I feel like I keep cleaning them.
