How to use: Apply eyeshadow with the flat side of Shade and Sweep Eye Brush (sold separately) for a smooth wash of color on the eyelid. Use the tapered side to seamlessly blend. Define the eye and lashline with the Precision Eye Brush (sold separately).

Bay is beautiful!
I’m reviewing the dark brown shade (Bay). I have to say that I love it. It’s very expensive for a single shadow but I feel like it’ll last for a long time. It’s smoothing and easy to blend for a matte shade. I have been wearing it with the sparkly shade called Pinto from this Mustang collection. The two together are perfect for me. I like that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to wear as much when using these.

Bay is beautiful!

Not happy with the shades
The matte formula is stunning! Blurs, easy to apply, blends by itself. However the Palomino shade I felt was too light and the Bay shade…as another reviewer mentioned, it is too red based of a brown. It applied beautifully however when I looked at myself in the mirror later in the day I realized my eyes looked sore or a bit ill due to the red undertone. Please Chantecaille, make this matte formula in light-midtone neutral shades!

Looks red instead of brown
It's a very nice creamy consistency like all Chantecaille products, but the cooler is very off for me, these shadows look bright red on my eyes instead of brown. Not very flattering for a blond with fair skin.

Beautiful and Blendable
This is my first time to try this brand of eyeshadow but I must say the Palomino color is stunning. The perfect highlighter for my olive skin tone. I like how I can easily blend it with other shadows and thinking about investing in more of these in other shades. Would like more matte color options since it sounds like the Bay might be too red for me.

Beautiful matte shadows
I bought both the shades as I needed some more neutral matte eyeshadows and I love the Chantecaille ones. For matte shadows these apply so smoothly without creasing, even straight on the lid without a primer. They are quite pigmented and blend beautifully. The formula even though matte is not drying and they feel light and comfortable on skin. These are a great addition to my eyeshadows and I have been wearing them daily since purchasing I hope they bring out more matte shadows in this format soon.
